Default My 2 new chronographs

I haven't been posting for a while now. I've been delaying the photo shoot of this two lovely watches for way too long.

Firstly, I finally found a Vostok Komanderskie 3133 chronograph, I didn't know that they were from the Soviet era when I bought them.

Front shots

Pretty well built, a uni-directional bezel for once, mirror polished surface all over and pretty decent lume.

Case back, I like the design of case back.

My second, a Strela re-issue, it's from the same seller too. I am very impressed with the details on the dial.

Front shots

Case back.

If I remember correctly, this reissue model is 1 of the earliest from Poljot. There are subsequent reissues from Poljot International and Volmax.

A comparison with an older vintage Poljot Strela.

I'm glad to have you back, roo7. Those are two sharp looking chronos, although I believe the Vostok one is not an official Vostok but was made for export only to Italy. The Strela is quite faithful to the original and would make a perfect dress watch. The only thing I don't like with it is the print on the glass back. I have seen a discussion somewhere on how to remove the print in order not to hide the pretty movement.

Are your chronograph collection completed now?

Beautiful! Great pics, too. I'd love to have a Strela...

Welcome back.

Thanks..

Well, I think for me to complete my chronographs collection, the last and final piece will be a Poljot океан.

I'm still looking for 1 without paying for an arm and leg for it.

I think I recall reading about that logo removal. I will search for it and do just that. It wouldn't make any sense for that logo on a display case back.

Overall, I'm very happy with the Strela, I like the white/cream dial a lot and for the first time, I got a nice comment from a colleague.
