Our Russian Boctok "Pass Around" watch survived the long journey from New Zealand (anzac1957) to Sunny San Diego. Thanks, Tony.
I took the opportunity to take it to the U.S.S Midway aircraft carrier that is permanently docked in San Diego harbor. The Midway was commissioned September 10, 1945 as a new advanced class of carrier. It served throughout the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm, after which it was decommissioned. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Midway_(CV-41) In addition, I was able to photograph the Boctok in front of a giant statue duplicating the famous Times Square kiss on VJ Day. Finally, I submit a couple photos of the Bocktok in front of a photo of a Russian submarine that looks very similar to the sub on our watch. Enjoy! Tinman1965: it's comin' at you next! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

At this moment the watch is in transit to tinman1965, who should receive it by tomorrow.

I still have the watch. I have been swamped and haven't been near the water. I will get the watch to Randy so that we can finish this off. My apologies for the long delay.
