Default New Gee

Just got this one in from Jomashop's holiday sale:

I had a Rangeman just like this before, not long after they first came out from Casio. I gave that one away to a young guy who worked for me who was going into the Air Force and needed a good watch.

I missed it, and noticed that Joma was selling it at a good price.

Cheers!

Nice G shock! I have owned 39 G-Shocks over the years and currently have 3. I recently sold a newer mudman as I didn't use the compass or thermometer. Would like to get a Frogman, but the prices are kinda steep.

I am a bit ambivalent towards the Gees myself, however, I do understand the attraction, congratulations on your new score. Hope it serves you well.

One of the unique pleasures of watch collecting -- along with one of its great reliefs -- is when you come across a long-lost watch you regret letting go of, even if for a good cause, as was the case where yours was concerned, John. I always look at it as a good karma kind of thing; if the cause you gave it away to was a worthy one, then the watch will make itself available to you again. Either that, or I'm full of ca-ca () and you're just one lucky duck! Either way, congrats on picking up a long-missed piece, my friend!
