Default G-shock

Walking through Macy's yesterday and noticed a huge new display of G-Shocks, probably about 75 watches!

They have these new awesome colors now - a deep green, purple, red - if I recall.

Has anyone seen these?

I'll have to look. G-Shocks are extremely popular in the hospital here.

Cruising the G-Shock forum on WUS and looking at some of the wrist shots, it appears these watches are huge!

I know it's "styling"but aren't sport watches suppose to be relatively easy to wear for sports, etc? I know they are light but the sheer size seems cumbersome.

Some of them are quite large...they do make plenty of smaller (relative term) models. The Mudman models look pretty big in photos, but they are not all that big. The 5600 series is pretty small by G standards. Best bet is to look at them in person and just try them on your wrist.

They're also extremely lightweight. You forget you have them on.

I have that gulfman in black and Conjurer is correct. They are really light. That particular model, while is larger, has titanium and wears really well.

Try one out, I think everyone needs a g in their collection.

Tried on the bright red model and it is feather light. The bracelet is paper thin and very comfy.

This one was toguh solar or atomic correcting but has me thinking......

MSRP is $99 but zero discount at Macy's.....maybe around Christmas they will knock off a few bucks.. (or not!)

You the man now, dog!

I actually saw some of the G's at my local Macy's, which is looking more and more like a Greyhound station at low tide. Some kool kolors, too, like the red and orange.

Some G-Shocks are really huge. Some looks big on the photos but not too big when you wear them.

I have a 6.5" wrist and here is what the Mudman looks.

and here is what the 5600 looks like.
