Default Invicta "Russian" Diver

OK...now I get it. Your right the Invicta "Russian" Divers shouldn't be in the discussion of true Russian watches, i,e, made in Russia. I thought you meant that Invicta didn't actually make watches for the Russian military early in the history of the company. I can accept marketing hype, but not an outright lie.

Thanks for clarifying!

George

Question Invicta "Russian" divers

OK, but I'm still confused.

Here's a quote from the article:

"So although Invicta Russian Diver Watches are not Russian-made, they do have a legitimate tie to Russian naval history."

Is the statement True or False?

Is there an independent source regarding this statement, or is it just a storytale made up by Invicta marketing people?

George

I believe it is nothing more than marketing.

Nice watches. I loved oogling them. Lotsa Vostok.
